quite disappointed in the visit to this carrabas. we have always loved carrabas but came here for lunch and were not impressed. service was slow and uninformed. Then my salmon was completely overcooked. Waited 34 min for the bill so we could leave....just not a good experience overall sadly. the only redeeming item was the mussels - very yummy and plentiful.

For a chain good. Portions are smaller now but prices remain reasonable. Good food, pasta sauces are very good and love the pomodoro tomatoes on the red spicy sauce called Picchu. Good soups and awesome bread. Good real bread with olive oil. Lobster mac n cheese needs a little more meat but delicious. Of course the king in the fettuccini. I mean it's so good you can change even Darth Vader from the dark side with it. Perfection. The waitress was excellent good manners and friendly. Place looks nice afterthe remodel. They are doing something right place was packed and our meals good.

This restaurant has the best mussels dish ever. The taste is so delicious. I tasted the same dish at other Italian restaurants, but it is not the same at all. I recommend it to every one who wants to have a real good taste

Service was great. Food? Not so great. I have never walked away from a plate of calamari until now. Overbreaded with insane amounts of salt, and herbs that you could barely taste the calamari. Even the olive oil with herbs to dip bread in was impossible to enjoy. I think whoever is in the kitchen needs to taste some of this stuff before serving it. Either that or the insane use of salt and herbs are necessary to cover up bad ingredients? Not sure We had the lobster mac and cheese too. It was good enough not to right anything negative about it. There just wasn't anything we ordered that was worth returning offer.

We went for kelly's brothers birthday. I had the veal marsala. Kelly had the chichen marsala. Her brother had the Prosciutto-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin. We were all very happy with the food. Mine was very tender and the sauce was great. Kelly's was also cooked perfectly. Her brother's looked great and he was very happy with it. I will be having that the next time we go there. The only down side was are server. She did let are drinks run out on us. That's a bigg no no to me. But dont let that stop you from going there. We will be going back again.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
